      Hi Kathy!

I will be happy to send you the menu that we put together for Good Day. I have the menu and the shopping list, there just aren’t any step-by-step directions yet. They will be uploaded to the website as soon as they are finished! Thanx, and happy cooking!

      Blessings!

Do you provide nutritional information on your meals? I saw your segments on Good Day Sacramento and noticed two of the meals were frozen pizzas which tend to be high in sodium so I wondered if you provided info for the meals you actually prepared. Thanks.

      Hi Cathy!

Great question! Usually when I do my meals at home I put my ingredients into the My Fitness Pal App in my phone and it helps me to calculate the calories and fat. I would love to find a software that would allow me to do that quickly for my menus so that I can provide that info… but as of now, it’s all good old fashioned math! ;-)

My general rule is always low fat, whole grain, good lean protein, and lots of veggies! I did go ahead and add the quiche recipe because we used low fat milk and cheese, and we could do 2 for the price of 1! I couldn’t tell you the last time I ate quiche, but I am excited to try this one at home myself!

Yes, I agree that pizza is not always a great option when it comes to the sodium! :( However, for this segment at least, I figured that if people are going to go out and get pizza, they’re not really going to care a whole lot, and… these were on sale and in our budget! I also have a very low sodium diet… I just don’t use a lot of salt, and when I do, I use Lawry’s Season Salt because it comes in at about 1/2 the amount of sodium per 1/4 tsp. and I love the taste!

Hope that helps! If you happen to know of any calorie calculation software, I’d love to know about it… in the meantime, I’ll keep working on getting those numbers for my menus. Thanx so much for your comment!

      Blessings!
